It’s assumed that today the most popular format for creating a home theater is 5.1.

IHOO MT 5.1P active speaker system continues the line of home theater speaker systems, replacing the popular SVEN IHOO MT 5.1R model.

On the one hand, the model has preserved all the advantages of the famous IHOO series. Two switchable inputs enable to connect the set to several signal sources simultaneously (a PC, DVD player, laptop, netbook). Sound option activates the virtual 5.1-channel sound processor (Pro.Logic). As a result, music and movies recorded in stereo acquire the new spatial sound. The adjustments are made in two ways: with a remote control and on the panel located on the front side of the subwoofer. The remote provides the possibility of independent volume control of the subwoofer and satellites.

On the other hand, the manufacturer has thoroughly elaborated the technical filling of the model. The result is upgraded electronic stuffing compared to IHOO MT 5.1R. The model is characterized with higher total power (150 W) and a powerful 6.5” subwoofer driver. Front and center satellites are equipped with silk dome tweeters. The sound is very accurate and balanced, filled with an immense number of details. It makes watching movies thrilling and spectacular. The developers have added another novelty – a switched-mode power supply unit operating within a wide range of input voltage. This is why the device is less sensitive to power surges.

In terms of design, IHOO MT 5.1P is represented in two versions. The first one is performed in classical elegant black harmonizing with modern LCD and plasma panels in Hi-Tech style. The second variety is in wood. It will be of interest to those who prefer speakers to go with furniture and appreciate presence of natural materials in the interior.
