Tuki Mouse, Keyboard and Headphones are Our Conductors to the Virtual World. Review of SVEN products

Not only professional skills of a gamer are important during elimination of virtual enemy, but his improvised facilities as well. With your fists you will be able to break a monitor only. A mouse, keyboard and headphones are our conductors to the virtual world. Both the involvement degree to the gaming process and the success of gaming results depend on their quality. SVEN Company lent us the set of computer gadgets, and we bring the review of them to your notice.

SVEN Comfort 7600 EL Keyboard

The keyboard has rather classic design. It does not suffer from side effects of modern love to the minimalism – being quite bulky, the device provides several additional possibilities to the user, which simplify the operation. There are thirteen “additional” shortcut buttons in the upper part of the keyboard to use multimedia and Internet. The layout and size of other keys are standard.

There is a possibility to change the keyboard tilt angle. Folding adjusting legs are located on the reverse side of the device. The difference between the maximum angle and horizontal position of the device is not too great, but it is sufficient to increase the comfort level during working over a long period of time. There is a special wrist support on the front part of the keyboard. However, due to the support dimensions, it is impossible to rest against it with your hands in full – hands practically lie on the table.

A possibility to switch LED key backlighting is a zest of SVEN Comfort 7600 EL. A user can choose three variants: blue, violet and red. Colors are selected with a special button at the upper right of the keyboard. You can turn the backlighting off, but it is desirable not to do this due to aesthetic inducements, because a considerable portion of the color disappears in this case. Taken along, symbols are not distinguished too clear. In general, the backlighting is convenient for lovers to work at night with the room light off. It is not too bright; therefore, eyes do not get tired even of the long meditation to keys.

The tactile perception of physical contact of fingers with the mat surface of keys is pleasant. It is convenient and easily to type using SVEN Comfort 7600 EL. High sound level during key pressing can be considered as a shortcoming of the keyboard. Well, SVEN Comfort 7600 EL does not fall in the category of “silent” devices. However, it was worth for developers to soften the classic “clicking” somehow, because the backlighting creates the keyboard image as a device for use at night.

As a whole, the device stands out nice against the background of its fellows. If you have a lot of free space on your table, but you have to work or game mostly at night, then SVEN Comfort 7600 EL is a very quite good decision.

SVEN RX-525 Silent Wireless Mouse

The mouse appearance arouses amusing associations. The lower part of the device sides has convexities for more comfortable location of the hand. Due to this feature the mouse rather resembles another rodent – a hamster with bulge cheeks. Overall, the device case made of mat plastic in dark-grey tones is nice.

SVEN RX-525 is a representative of large-size “rodents”, on which a user’s hand can be positioned with comfort. In spite of “sluggish” appearance of the mouse, it slides along the surface quite confidently. No defects were noticed during its testing. The pointer behaves precisely without the control loss.

A possibility to switch the optical sensor resolution is a feature of the “rodent”. You can do this procedure with a button located beneath the scroll wheel. You can feel the difference between 800, 1200 and 1600 dpi in real time. So, the mouse can be adjusted for your needs.

There are two oblong buttons for page turning in the Internet on the left side of the device. Such devices frequently require a habit, because the thumb often touches these buttons. There is a special cavity designed for the thumb on the left side, due to this unpremeditated click is impossible.

The mouse operates in the wireless mode. It “refuels” with the help of three batteries; the compartment for them is located on the mouse bottom. The power off button is there also.

A tidbit declared by developers regarding silent click of buttons is really available. The silent of mouse click is nicely combined with tactile perceptions of contact with the buttons: the click is clear and sure without undue effort. The loudness of the scroll wheel is a serious problem for lovers of silence on the background of this. The developers obviously forgot to muffle it. The “scroll” copes with its task confidently, but it produces a distinct snap at clicking, and it is slightly discordant with the conception of “silent” buttons.

During SVEN RX-525 testing we received positive impressions. The “rodent” operates precisely and without failures, it has a very useful resolution selection function. Thanks to this the use of mouse was convenient both in the Internet surfing and during a game. At relatively low price (about four hundred rubles) SVEN RX-525 demonstrated the high level of quality and convenience at work.

SVEN AP-970MV Headset

The headset fits visually into the color gamut of gadgets being discussed today: the mat grey surface with two black glossy rims is effective. The headset is completely plastic. There is soft lining on the headband. Ear cushions are fastened with metal clips. The headset weight is average, i.e. 240 g, ear cushions are clasped to the head rather tightly. The headset seats comfortably, however, after its removal after several hours of use you feel relief, so you have to do short pauses for relaxation.

SVEN AP-970MV provides rather good noise clipping level. Of course, you will not use it comfortably in the metro; however, it is not needed at all. The passive noise clipping system (SVEN PNC) copes with its tasks rather well: it allows remaining in private with your favorite music or giving yourself up to gaming process in full without diverting your attention to the present household.

A pull-out microphone is built in the left headphone. If required it is possible just to hide the detail and use the device for its direct intended purpose. The microphone quality does perfectly for voice orders in games or to chat via “Skype”. When the microphone is hidden, it resembles a small thorn. It is pulled out manually; this feature must suit the taste of customers, who plan to use the gadget both for home Internet chats and to listen to music out of doors.

There is a regulator on the headset wire, which switches on/off the microphone and changes the total volume, as well as the low frequency level. The last function allows adapting intensity of basses to the type of sound material being listened to. What pleasantly surprises, that is basses, which really sound rather deeply with the maximum level.

The sound quality is acceptable for the computer headset. The sensitivity of the headphones is not too great: 105 dB/kHz – SVEN AP-970MV will not allow you to become deaf for sure. Its frequency range is standard (20 Hz – 20 kHz). It is not the best variant for especially long-haired music lovers, who like the sound depth and notice every nuance of music. However, during listening to music with many musical instruments the sound vividness is not lost, it does not turn into indistinguishable mess and keeps its original richness.

SVEN AP-970MV provides the quality sound level at the low price. That is the reason that we can conclude, the discussed headset is a deserving alternative to expensive top models for an unpretentious music lover or gamer. It can be recommended, first of all, to music fans with expressed basses and lovers of Skype chats.

The set of computer gadgets offered to us by SVEN Company, in spite of some defects, produces a good impression in their price category. Quality-to-price ratio is optimum. It is the excellent and convenient set for every need of a PC user. Gadgets can be definitely recommended to purchase even for simple gamers.
